A Day of Being Asian

Designed for 1 B 1B apartment ( around 635 square ft), software render images.

Main Purpose:

Whole apartment space interior design

Measurements :

Living room 16’ x 12’

Dining room/area: 8’ x 10’

Bedroom: 13’ x 11’

Asians think living room of a place that best shows the owner’s taste, ambition, and the life philosophy.

This simple and open space is outlined by some ancient style tea set and random seats. It looks pretty Zen but still can hold modern home functionality. For example, you can set up the TV inside the black lacquerware surface cabinet.

Moon-shape door, half-moon side table and full-moon dining table all started become popular in Ming Dynasty (B.C. 1368~1644). The perfect round shape represents people’s wish to keep staying around and get together with family.

In here I use a moon-shape door as a room divider, the shelves come along expend the door as a hollow-out wall, at the same time it can hold objects for both functionality and decoration use.

This bedroom looks like a museum exhibiting antiques of the 18 ~ 20 centuries. Furniture styles from Asian and Victoria time Europe, and artworks from Castiglione and Picasso, they speak to each other quite well.
